How can
I repay the Lord for his goodness to me? These words of the responsorial
psalm capture beautifully the great sense of joy and gratitude experienced by
all who were present at the Final Vow Ceremony of Una Coogan at Loyola Hall on
November 18th. It was lovely

Vocation Promotion in Mauritius. Members of the Loreto Vocation Team in Mauritius since January 2006 are Sr Thérèse Yaw Kan Tong, Sr Josée Pontré and Sr Geneviève Maigrot. This year, the team opened up to welcome lay collaborators to join us: Mrs Dolly Emilie, Miss Maryse Chueng, Mike and Nathalie Sans Toupet. It is a new experience for us to be enriched with a different world view on young people. We are challenged to be more authentic: our lay collaborators impel us to live to the high expectations that they have of our calling. We are grateful for the time and energy they spend in planning and organizing events with us.

“Australian Loreto missionaries in India
you ask. “Most certainly,” would come the reply from any IBVM sister who knows the long history of the Indian province. A chapter of that history came to an end on March 23, 2006, with the death in Darjeeling of Sister Aluigi Dwyer.
