aust_symbol The Mary Ward Justice Lecture is an initiative of the Loreto JPIC Committee, to promote public discussion of key social issues. Mary Ward Justice Lecture – Making Indigenous Poverty History. The Make Poverty History Campaign, associated with the Millennium Development Goals, inspired the Australian National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ecumenical Commission to adopt the theme Make Indigenous Poverty History.  The Loreto Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Committee took this as the focus for 2005-2006.
