We Pray ...
We call on you, Holy Women, who went before
us, channels of the Word of God, to intercede for the new leadership team so
that they might be given grace to become women of vision and courage for our
time, for the honour and glory of God.
A General Congregations is a time to deepen
and strengthen our union of minds and hearts, to open ourselves to the ever-new
voice of the Spirit and to refresh our commitment and vision of Institute life
and mission towards our ultimate purpose - the greater glory of God. (Mary

“You did not choose me, no, I chose you; and I
commissioned you to go out and bear fruit” (John 15:16)

The more difficult it is for the members of
this Institute to be united with their head and among themselves, since they
are scattered…and… in diverse regions of the world, the more ought means be
sought for that union.(C. 389)
The whole Mary Ward family constitutes a microcosm of a multicultural
reality. We can choose to develop this microcosm to its full potential: to live
the fullness of God’s reign through our communion with one another, our world
and our planet.

Small Voice
Oh all-seeing Goodness,
Oh Verity itself,
preserve us from errors,
rectify our judgements,
perfect our knowledge,
endow us with true wisdom,
make us able to discern things as they are in
themselves -
the difference between trifles and matters of
importance,
what is to be done or not to be done in all.
Amen.
