"Cherish
God's vocation in you.
Let it be constant,
efficacious and loving." m.w.
We pray with the Church and the world
For the Benedictine Sisters of Ferdinand (USA). May God
continue to bless them in their efforts to share their energy and
enthusiasm, new skills and insights in their workshop "Awakening: A
rebirth of Enthusiasm in Vocations". (Kordes: 5 - 16 April)
For the diverse and beautiful web of Creation of which we are an
essential part. May we return to a right relationship of responsibility
and stewardship between humanity and creation. (22nd April: Earth Day)
We thank you God for the gift of imagination and for writers who enrich
our lives by using their creativity. (Shakespeare's and Cervantes'
anniversaries) (23rd April: International Book Day)
We pray with the Institute
For Mary Wright's visit to the USA Province. May it be a time of joy, sharing and openness for all. (April)
For Cecilia O'Dwyer, the new Provincial of Spain. May she be blessed
with the fullness of God's love and the wisdom of the Spirit.
For all members of the Institute.
May we realize we have a responsibility to encourage others to join us in our mission to the people of our time. (17th April: World Day of Prayer for Vocations)
One Small Voice
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered:
love them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives:
be kind anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you:
be honest and frank anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, people may be jealous:
be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget:
do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough:
Give the world the best you've got anyway.
