We pray with the Church and the world
For
the millions of people already dead and the millions of others either living
with or personally affected by HIV/AIDS. May the World Remembrance Day help us
to be more conscious of the situation and pray more for spiritual and social
strength, and resources to fight the disease and its determinant factors.
(1st Dec. International AIDS Day)
God,
we await your birth in us each day. Give us courage and strength to stand with
your Spirit in all those places that hunger for your light and your love.
(3rd Dec. Advent begins)
For
our Jewish sisters and brothers as they celebrate the feast of Hanukkah. May it
be a time of joy, hope and peace for them.
(16th – 23rd Dec. Feast of the Lights)
We pray
with the Institute
For our new leadership team: Marian, Sandra,
Carmen, Barbara and Beatrice. May they experience the love of God in their
lives and our provident care for them as they begin their new ministry of
service in the Institute
(8th December: 2006)
For Mary, Ana, Monica, Pat, Emer and Maria.
May they experience our gratitude for their past eight years of service to the
Institute. and may they continue to be open to the call of the Spirit.
Mary of the Magnificat, teach us to be
grateful: recognizing, acknowledging and rejoicing in God’s many gifts to us.
(31st December: Te Deum)
We give thanks to God and we rejoice with the
E. African Province for the First Profession of Lena Muthoni Mambo. May she
prize her calling highly and love it before others.
(16th December)
One Small Voice
TODAY
A CHILD IS BORN TO US
Come closer to
Bethlehem to look,
to admire and perhaps
to change
the image you have of
God.
God is this Child.
God communicates with
us
through human
vulnerability.
Be conscious that each
time
you touch your
vulnerability
or that of others,
God is there in a
special way.
TODAY
I BRING NEWS OF
GREAT JOY
Come closer to
Bethlehem
to receive this great
joy.
Feel the power of the
Spirit,
who sends you
to be the great joy of
God
wherever you go.
