We pray with the Church and the world

2010 has been named the International Year of Biodiversity. The biodiversity found on our planet today consists of many millions of distinct biological species, the product of nearly billion years of evolution. Many places where the Institute members live experience the results of damage to many of these species.

Let us celebrate and preserve the diversity within our earth, and within our Institute – its members and provinces.

For those of our Church and world who in their difference are marginalized by many and varied situations.May we minister to them as bearers of good news and God’s unfailing love.

We pray with the Institute

In grateful thanks for the acceptance of the revised Constitutions Volumes I and II. Our work of Reunion continues to deepen and we pray for each other as we make this law of love a reality in our lives.

For Mary Ward Week , January 23 – 30: that union of minds and hearts will be experienced as we pray together with the CJs and our lay collaborators.

For Province and Region Assemblies being held this month around the globe.

For the Indian province and Darjeeling region as Consultation for the next leadership begins.

In thanksgiving for the official news of the decree announcing Mary Ward as Venerable. May her life and story continue to inspire many in ways of freedom, justice and sincerity.

One Small Voice

The new year,
like a new born child,
is placed in our hands as the
old year passes away.
The days and weeks to come
are God's gift;
they carry God's blessing.
As a blessing we welcome
them.

Our hope for the year ending
is that all that was good in it
remain with us
and all that was harmful
be left behind.
