With the words ‘Jesus say Amen’, the IBVM General Congregation 2022 was officially opened by Sr. Noelle Corscadden, IBVM, Institute Leader.
In her opening remarks, she welcomed us to the holy ground of Manresa, where Ignatius experienced deep conversion through ‘moments of illumination, of rapture, of reconciliation and of the Spiritual Exercises.’ This place reminds us of Mary Ward’s inspiration to Take the Same of the Society as we meet together to pray and discern and orient our whole lives and mission to the life and mission of Jesus.
