We remember this day one year ago when delegates gathered in Manresa, Spain for the General Congregation 2022 of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Guided through a 3-day discernment process led by Fr. John Dardis, SJ, delegates listened to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. In a historic unanimous vote, delegates ratified the decision to Become One with the Congregation of Jesus.
Since that time, we have witnessed the joy of closer bonds and relationships between IBVM and CJ members across the world. At the ground level through community gatherings, through ministry collaboration, and meetings of leadership, CJ and IBVM are coming together to explore and discern our future together. We move together along this path of unity, listening carefully and with love to the Holy Spirit and to one another, with an open heart for discernment.
