Some Mary Ward people at the Parliament of World Religions in Chicago. 10,000+ participants from more than 200 diverse religious and spiritual traditions, people of goodwill, and more than 80 nations have been answering the call to conscience at the world’s largest and most diverse interfaith convening.

Towards a Global Ethic is an essential ethical framework created for the 1993 Parliament of World’s Religions. It is revised as new areas of concern emerge. Cecilia O’Dwyer ibvm was involved in discussions on this document and The Earth Charter, another seminal ethical instrument for our times.
