We pray with the Church and the world General Intention of Pope Benedict XVI for respect for human life: that every national and transnational institution may strive to guarantee respect for human life from conception to natural death. Intention of the Holy Father for Missionaries in the churches in Asia: that the churches in Asia which constitute a “little flock” among non-Christian populations, may know how to communicate the Gospel and give joyful witness to their adherence to Christ. World Environment Day on June 5th aims to deepen public awareness to preserve and enhance the environment. A simple check of recycling in your community and use of water and some decisions t o improve will be a start or there might be further challenges in your country. World Refugee Day on 20th June is a reminder to us of all those who live and seek a li ving in a country not their own, not of their choice and sometimes in circumstances of great hardship. We also remember refugees fleeing their country as a result of climate change . Let us continue to pray for our church - locally, nationally and universally. Perhaps the invitation to renewal is best started with each one of us – praying, reading, reflecting and sharing our impressions. We pray with the Institute The Institute, Province and Region leaders meet in Mauritius this month (June 14 to 25) for the Extended Leadership Meeting . Pray that there will be deep and fruitful connections and conversations. Continue to pray for all members in initial formation and those discerning their call to join us. Pray also for those w hose ministry is vocation promotion and for all of us as we witness to this call to religious life. Let us pray too for all our sisters whose daily lives are concerned with pain and struggle, both physical and mental. May they know our love and support and the contribution their life makes to our community. Pray too for those who care for and minister to them . One Small Voice
